Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.

Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

WEDNESDAYS Summer Reading Program

“Magic Treehouse: Passport to Adventure” Wednesday mornings: June 11,18 ,25 and July 2, 9, 23 (no program the week of July 16th due to Vacation Bible School) and will be from 10AM -12 Noon. There will be a story time, activity, craft and treats. Stop by the Library for a flyer and follow the Library on Facebook and our website www.bhpubliclibrary. org. TUESDAYS/WEDNESDAYS THRU JULY 23 Summer Reading

for 2-4year olds will meet at 10:30-11:30 on Tuesdays through July 22. Elementary students will be held on Wednesdays at 10:30-11:30 through July23. Theme for the summer reading is Natures Super Heroes. We will have reading contests with prizes for top readers. Activities, reading, and crafts will be featuring nature's super Hero insects.

from 11am-4pm on West Depot street. Registration 11am-1pm, food and drink available, entry fee $10. Music by JR Sound. MONDAY, JULY 21 Summer Reading at the Argyle State Park

Colchester District Library will be hosting a summer reading event at the Argyle State Park. Please meet at the Visitors Center. Starts at 1:30 pm and goes through 3:00 pm. We will have: Book reading, Nature hike, Nature crafts, Outdoor food and Games. All Ages Welcome.

You'll find the Macomb Farmers Market this Thursday & Saturday morning (8 am to Noon) in Chandler Park. Look for locally grown produce, plants, & fresh flowers; local pasture-raised meat & eggs; homemade baked goods, flavored popcorn, gourmet grilled cheese, & other ready-to-eat treats; personal care products & hand-crafted goods made by local artisans; on-site knife sharpening; and more! Plus -- live music with local legend Dan Eilers starting at 10 am on Saturday.

at Chandler Park from 12-1pm for the Summer! We are so excited for another year of bringing Story time + Play time + Free Lunch to Macomb littles! We're so happy to be partnering with the Macomb Public Library for our longest running program!

SATURDAY, JULY 19 VFW Post 1921 Golf Outing

at Gold Hills Golf Course at 9am. Shotgun start, 4 person scramble-$240/team and includes food & cart, hole sponsorships $100. There will be raffle prizes, payout for 3 flights and individual prizes. THURSDAY, JULY 24 We are Carried Perfomance at COFAC

We are Carried–a new professional vocal ensemble featuring world premieres by Katerina Gimon and Alex Berko will be held at the COFAC Recital Hall on the WIU Campus at 7:30pm.

SATURDAY, JULY 26 Hogwash Slip & Slide Bash free family fun, free drinks provided by Refreshment Services of Macomb. Cool down with TWO 75’ slip & slides from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Glenwood Park Shelter! The Slip & Slide is suitable for ages 3+.
