The Macomb Band Boosters have launched a new fundraising initiative aimed at supporting both the middle school and high school band programs, with a focus on providing essential equipment and financial assistance for students.
Inspired by the success of the “Playbook” campaign led by the Macomb Bomber Boosters—which raised funds for high school athletic equipment—the Band Boosters have developed a similar approach, dubbed the “Notebook” campaign.
Created with guidance from Bomber Boosters president Jill Beck, the initiative outlines specific items needed by the band programs, allowing donors to contribute directly to individual purchases.
Thanks to early contributions from community members, the campaign has already funded a new director’s stand for the middle school, a set of 15 color guard silks, and rental fees for instruments benefiting 10 student musicians.
However, the Boosters are still seeking donations to help fund the purchase of additional items, including cymbals, a music stand rack, and a music sorting rack. They are also working to raise funds to provide scholarships for students participating in the school’s biannual band and choir trip.
Supporters can contribute by visiting the Macomb Band Boosters Facebook page or by going to macomb-band-boosters. square.site. Donors may choose specific items to support and contribute in any amount.
