
Shawn D. Mayall 52, of Washington, MO, formerly of Macomb
Shawn Dean Mayall, 52, of Washington, MO passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, following ongoing complications related to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was born on June 18, 1973, in Macomb, IL, the son of Kevin Mayall and Rhonda (Barry) Wrestler. On September 19, 2003, he was united in marriage to Victoria (Vicki) Statzel in Las Vegas, NV.
Shawn graduated from Washington Senior High School, Washington, MO in 1992 and later attended East Central College in Union, MO where he earned his degree in Business.
At an early age, Shawn began working alongside his father, Kevin, in the maintenance and construction fields. Their business continued to flourish, and they founded S-K Contractors, Inc. in 1987. Shawn always had an entrepreneurial spirit, had a keen eye for business opportunities, and formed many companies over the years. Most recently, Shawn and Vicki owned and operated Lakeside Constructors, LLC along with additional entities at the Lake of the Ozarks. They also own and operate Elijah McLean’s Event Venue & Inn Washington, MO.
Shawn held memberships at the Hummingbird Club and Elks Lodge #1559 both of Washington, MO. He was a Washington Town and Country Fair Board Member and volunteer for Washington Downtown, Inc. He was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Washington, MO.
Shawn had many loves in life. Above all, his pride and joy were his family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor and was always making others laugh. His laugh was infectious, and he was an overwhelmingly generous person to all around him. He enjoyed boating, traveling, had a passion for classic cars, and was always on the hunt for the next “big” deal. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Kevin Mayall, his grandparents Willis and Margaret Mayall, Norma Brockley, Floyd Barry, mother-in-law Linda Statzel, brother-in-law David Nystrom, and cousins Melissa Malott, Natasha Kukla, and John Ross Kukla.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; one son, Riley Mayall and significant other Ariana Myers; one daughter, Madison Mayall and fiancé Jakob Robertson, all of Washington, MO; his mother, Rhonda Wrestler and husband Terry of Macomb, IL; step-mother, Bernie Mayall of Washington, MO; fatherin- law Butch Statzel of Washington, MO; two sisters Krissa Nystrom of Pekin, IL and Niki Pataky and husband Matt of Washington, MO; one brother, Wes O’Hern and wife Julie of Washington, MO; three step-sisters: Lori Farris of Union, MO, Krisi Epps and husband Douglas of Pickerington, OH, and Jami Theodosiou and husband Jason of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Julie Statzel of Washington, MO; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial visitation for 52-year-old Shawn Mayall will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at First Christian Church of Washington. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM on Friday at the church. Interment will be held privately.
