Tina Cox, 92, of Macomb passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus Sunday, June 22, 2025.
She was born on July 12, 1932 in Baylis, Illinois to Lester and Frieda (Allen) Kelly. She married Charles Cox on June 8, 1952. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Mike (Vicky) Cox of Macomb, Sheila (Tom) Robertson of Peoria and Rozanna (Curt) Westra of Pella, IA; grandchildren, Chad John, Christina Penneman, Caitlin Wetmore, Michael Robertson, Evan Robertson and Ellen Mathewson and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Dorothy Kelly Stauffer, Mavis Kelly Jackson, Shirley Kelly Gallaher and Betty Kelly Keyes and one brother, Charles Kelly, Jr.
Tina lived in Macomb for many years. After High School she attended Quincy School of Business. She held various jobs during her lifetime. She worked as a waitress, home babysitting, church secretary and baked pies at the Old Dairy.
Tina had a heart for children and enjoyed teaching them in Sunday School, Awana Kids Program, Good News Clubs and as a Youth Leader. She attended and hosted bible studies. She was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church now Grace Baptist Church Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Grace Baptist Church in Macomb with Pastor Jerry Trecek officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, the Elms Nursing Home or MDH Hospice.
