Ced enjoys playing French music, old movie soundtracks, Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, country blues, rags, bottleneck slide...and he plays it all exclusively on National Resonator Guitars.

Ced was born and raised in Reims, France (North East of Paris), 'Growing up in France, I was obsessed with the Sun Record artists, thanks to an uncle of mine. Years later, I became friends with an Austin, TX based fingerstyle guitarist who introduced me to Chet Atkins, Doc Watson, Merle Travis, Blind Blake...and it triggered the strong desire to trade my plectrums for some fingerpicks! It was there in Austin that I heard for the first time the great Leonard Kwan, Master Slack Key Player. I was hooked right there and then on Hawaiian slack key guitar and took a deep dive in it” Ced is currently nominated for the WAMI (WI Area Music Industry) and the MAMAs (Madison Area Music Association) as Instrumentalist Of The Year for his solo Hawaiian Slack Key album 'Kaona'.
