The May meeting of the General Macomb DAR Chapter honored the follow students
• Nola McEntire Scholarship Winner, Gloria Monteen – Trinity Academy
• Mary Stipanowich WIU History Scholarship Winners – Raegan Boone, Megan Coleman, Gage Eastin and Natalya Shields.
Coleman is a double major in public history and theater, with a double minor in dance and stage combat.
She is from Simi Valley, CA.
Eastin is a junior history major with a focus on history education. He is from Orion, IL.
Shields is a junior history major with a focus on pre law. She is from Streamwood, IL.
Raegan Boone is a freshman history major with a focus on history education.
She is from Effingham, IL.
• ROTC Outstanding Female Cadet Winner – Cora Hobbs The Chapter also awarded eight (8) 8th Grade American History Awards to the boy and girl with the highest GPA in History. Each student received a certificate, medal and a $50 bill. The awards were presented at each school.
