Carol was the heart of every gathering quick with a joke, a playful tease, or a perfectly timed one liner. Family was her anchor, and they never missed a chance to gather together, often with food, laughter, and the occasional playful prank. Carol had an uncanny ability to turn ordinary moments into treasured memories. Cats were a constant in Carol‘s life , not just pets but partners in mischief. They shared midnight snack raids and countless quiet moments that spoke louder than words. Carol shared her home (and often her lap) with a rotating cast of whiskered companions, each one spoiled with treats, warm spots in the sun and more affection than they probably knew what to do with. Carol embraced every quirk her feline friends brought into her home.

And keeping with Carol‘s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. The family will have a private graveside service at Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery, in Quincy, Illinois. She will be placed to rest alongside her parents and sister. Friends may sign the register book, view the pictures and leave memorials at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester, from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
