Rhonda Sydney Randall, 65, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born on April 13, 1961, in Troumaca, St. Vincent, the daughter of Hannahdora Hamilton.
Rhonda is survived by her son, Adam Randall of Macomb, Illinois; her sister, Zulma (Wesley) David of Macomb, Illinois; two nieces, Sharee Young and Jasmine Young-Cook; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Rhonda worked as a cook at The Elms Nursing Home in Macomb for more than 20 years. Throughout her years of service, she was known for her caring nature and her love of people. She took pride in her work and enjoyed the friendships and relationships she developed along the way.
Above all, Rhonda was a devoted mother whose love and dedication to her son, Adam, were unwavering. She was his caretaker, his advocate, and his greatest supporter, always placing his needs and well-being at the forefront of her life. Rhonda also shared a special bond with her sister, Zulma, whom she loved and cherished dearly. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to care for others will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Dodsworth Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Eddy officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Rhonda Randall.
