Pink Heals Stops by Macomb Middle School Pink Out Game

The Carthage Chapter of Pink Heals made a surprise appearance Tuesday evening at Macomb Middle School to show support for the cause. The Macomb Middle School Basketball players were facing off with Carthage during their Pink Out night. Word spread through various sources, thanks to Marlena Lee and daughter Claire, and the Pink Heals Ambulance, named Darla, arrived!

Jami Miller of J & J Designs, a cancer survivor herself and the creator of the T-shirts for the Basketball team, made a donation (a portion of the tee-shirt sales) to the Pink Heals initiative, as did the team. Read more about Jami’s story and how Pink Heals, a national organization formed by a firefighter, helps support area cancer patients with personal visits, delivering various needs, including baskets full of personal items and most importantly emotional support.

“Pink Heals brings you hope in your darkest moments,” Jami said.
