The Macomb High varsity volleyball team had to learn the errors of its ways Tuesday night as it faced Havana.
The Bombers committed 14 errors in the opening set before escaping with a 28-26 win.
Set two was completely different as Macomb never trailed in completing the sweep with a 25-13 victory.

“We were just slow out of the gate from the get-go,” said MHS Marcy Lantz.

Unlike the first set slip, Macomb finished off the match in set two by scoring the final six points.
“We were able to jump out strong,” said Lantz of the second set. “That was what our goal was, not let them within five (points) that second set.”
“We did a pretty good job of making that happen,” she added.
