Western Prairie Audubon Society event

Jaime Webb of Prairie Land Conservancy will be presenting on Community Conservation at a Land Trust Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m. at Macomb City Hall.

Jaime grew up in rural Indiana and graduated from Goshen College with a BA in Environmental Science and a Masters in Environmental Education. He has worked for both Midwest and West Coast Land Trusts with a focus on environmental education and community engagement. Jaime's favorite topics to teach include prairie and pollinators, benthic macroinvertebrates, and queer ecology. When not at work, you can find Jaime reading a book while sipping cold brew coffee or out in the field with a pencil to add another page to his nature journal.

Topic Description: Learn how Prairie Land Conservancy focuses on community, grass-roots support to protect land and waters in West Central Illinois. From volunteers to strong partnerships with other conservation organizations and nonprofits. Learn how you can get involved with bringing prairie back to the Prairie State to protect our birds, insects, and native plants.
