Mentioned Tai Chi class last week.
Have survived three without toppling over however I am often going the opposite direction of the rest of the class or on the wrong foot. Part of the class is getting to know each other and social interaction. One gentleman asked if I had had a can of soup fall on my foot so I knew that he reads this column.

All my bedrooms are on the second floor, so it seemed logical to also put the laundry room on the second floor. It is between my bedroom and the bath so I can toss in laundry on the way to the bathroom. Walked by the laundry room and heard water running which is not good. The washer was overflowing and had been for a while. Not as bad as it could have been as the washer sits in a tray which conducts the water to the basement in emergency situations. Sure enough, went to the basement and the floor was covered in water and there was just a bit on the floor in the laundry room. Asked users of Facebook who they would recommend for appliance repair. One store was recommended far more than any other so called them. A week before they could come out.
Took the clothes out of the water and dried them on a bench on the patio. Dipped about half a washer of water out.
