Wilma Rosemary Malinak, 95, of Macomb passed away at 7:35 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Macomb Post Acute Care.
She was born on January 9, 1931 in Hayti, Missouri to James Richard and Gladys Morgan Euell. She married John S. Malinak, Sr. on November 11, 1949. He passed away on February 28, 2003.
Also preceding her in death her parents and one son, John S. Malinak, Jr.
Wilma is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Garrett) Van Beck of Plymouth; five grandchildren, Amy Reynolds, Jess (Jessica) Van Beck, Jamie Malinak, Kristin (Michael) Milligan and Ashley Sunley and ten great-grandchildren, John Reynolds, James Reynolds, Lance Van Beck, Jarrett Van Beck, Jaelynn Van Beck, Brandon Malinak, Lane Sunley, Cain Deheve, Fallyn Milligan and Henry Milligan.
Wilma lived in Macomb and Florida before moving back to Macomb in 2001. She worked as the office manager for Dr.
Robert Henderson’s office for many years before her retirement.
She was a member of the Illinois Optometric Association of Illinois. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and visiting with family and friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
