Robert Ray Williams, 78, of Macomb passed away at 7:28 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born on November 8, 1947 in Beardstown to Robert Walter and Ethel Louise Turner Williams He married Verne Dalberg on June 14, 1981.
He is survived by his children, Jennie (Joe) Fox of Macomb, Sheila (Ben) Willliams of Macomb and Trent (Angie) Williams of Macomb; four grandchildren, Nicollette (Jason) Parker, Sierra Williams, Jhalen Williams and Monica Fox; four great-grandchildren, Brynlee Cummings, Lettie Cummings, Corbin Parker and Bryson Williams and his ex wife, Verne Williams of Macomb.
Robert has lived majority of his life in Macomb where he worked in the landscaping business.
He enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He loved all sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and Minnesota Viking fan, Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Macomb VFW.
