Get your detective eyes and trail shoes ready to find the hidden pumpkins that will be tucked along the scenic trails of Lakeview Nature Area for the annual Prairie Pumpkin Hunt. Now through Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., participants can hunt for hidden pumpkins and discover cool 'Wildlife in Winter' fun facts about how our native prairie friends prepare for the cold months ahead.
There will also be a seasonal StoryWalk, a nature focused story presented page-by-page as you walk the trails at Lakeview. It’s a wonderful, self-guided autumn adventure for families, playgroups, and nature lovers of all ages.
Lakeview Nature Area is located at 10050 N 1500th Rd, Macomb. The event is FREE and open daily, no registration required.
