The Rotary Club of Macomb held its 14th meeting Tuesday at Park Place in Macomb which was a special social gathering. The event provided Rotarians and their guests with an opportunity for fellowship and enjoyment. The evening was scheduled to conclude with the Cash Raffle drawing, and those present eagerly anticipated the results of the winners from the tickets sold.
Dennis Danowski reported that 27 members were in attendance, representing 51% of the club’s membership. Members who had brought guests introduced the eight special guests in attendance.
Following the social period, President Nick Knolwes announced that the following week’s meeting (10/6/26) would be particularly important because the Rotary District 6460 Governor would be in attendance. He encouraged strong member representation for the visit. He announced that the club had received $450 from the Prairieland Barbershop Chorus in recognition of our club’s work and assistance with the Heritage Days Lemonade Shakeups.
Nick conveyed his appreciation to all who contributed to the evening’s success, including those who assisted with the meeting and raffle, as well as the Rotary Club members who sold raffle tickets.
President Nick then turned the program over to Ryan Van Dolah, who had chaired the Cash Raffle fundraiser. Nick commended Ryan for his excellent work in bringing the raffle project to completion.
