Golfers from Macomb, Bushnell-Prairie City and West Prairie headed to Carthage Friday to take part in the Illini West JV Boys Invitational at the Carthage Golf Club.
Host Illini West topped the field with a low score of 319. Macomb was second with a 357, followed by Quincy Notre Dame (382), Illini West 2 (391) and B-PC (445).
West Hancock and West Prairie did not field full teams. Luke Chapla led the Bombers, capturing medalist honors in carding a seven over-parr 77.
Lauren Young finished eighth with an 86, followed by Sawyer Thomas (13th, 94), Nolan Schmidt (100), Owen Leinbach (101) and Logan Lambert (111).
Miles Douglas also represented MHS, finishing with a 91. Landon Ferguson topped B-PC with a ninth place finish (88). Alex Kohler was next with a 96, followed by Domenic Faught (115) and Ryker Ferguson (146).
For West Prairie, Landon Porter shot a 97, while Brant Starbuck posted a score of 114.
