Students were writing about their experiences at local events in town.
• My favorite part about the balloon rally was the part where it was dark and quiet. Then all of the sudden “shhhhhh” the balloons light up. It is crazy. Me and my dad see how many throws we can get while the balloons are lit up. Riley R.
• Volleyball for the bombers played in Springfield, Illinois. Saturday, they played 3 different teams and only won one. The thing I enjoyed is seeing Kate R. play (my sister). This can benefit our community by believing that even when you lose you can keep trying.
• I always look forward to watching my sister play. Nora R.
• I think we should keep going because people have fun at these events and it is good for people to go outside. It is fun to be with friends. Jaxton D.
