The Macomb High girls golf team hosted Quincy Notre Dame and Illini Bluffs Wednesday afternoon at the Macomb Country Club.
The event was held using a Ryder Cup style format that included 3 holes best shot, 3 holes best score and 3 holes alternate shot.
Each squad had 3 pairs with all 3 scores counting toward the team total.
Quincy Notre Dame recorded the low score with a 111, followed by Macomb (135) and Illini Bluffs (174).
Playing on the 2,613 yard par 36, the group scores were as follows: Nancy Scholz and Georgia Wisslead (QND) – 35 Olivia Scholz and Natalie Druffel (QND) – 36 Taylor Mann and Reese Watson (MHS) – 38 Caroline Knuffman and Hadleigh Russell (QND) – 40 Kennedy McGraw and Grace O’Hern (MHS) – 47 Mullen Butcher and Emrey Seward (MHS) 50 Brielle Swardenski and Kensley Langloss (IB) 54 Camden McCoy and Layla Bell (IB) – 55 Morgan Dickinson and Mazie Gibson (IB) – 65 In JV play, the MHS trio of Emma Rigg, Lily Schmalshof and Braelyn Powers combined to shoot a 49.
