The West Prairie High School varsity volleyball team improved to 3-0 in Prairieland Conference South Division play Tuesday evening with a 25-16, 25-12victory over host Bushnell-Prairie City.
Stats for the Cyclones (11-6, 3-0) were as follows: Josie Hodges – 14 set assists, 5 digs and 9 service points including 2 service aces Alyvia Barkley – 5 kills, 5 digs and two blocks Niah Zimmerman – 5 kills Madison Adams – 4 kills Ashlynn Kelley – 3 kills, 2 blocks and 10 service points, including 4 service aces Madison McClure – 16 digs (a career high) Stats for the Spartans (0-9, 0-1)included the following: Kendyl McCleery – 2 kills, 2 digs Justice Klinedinst – 5 kills, 6 digs Amelia Carley – 2 digs Brynlee Beekman – 6 digs and 9 set assists Jules Kreps – 5 digs Mylee Chenoweth – 22 digs West Prairie also won the JV match 25-17, 25-16.
Both teams were also in action Monday.
West Prairie defeated Peoria Heights 25-19, 25-13.
