Rheana M. McVeigh, 28, of Smithshire, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City.

The funeral service for Rheana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Satuday, September 19, 2026 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, with Rev. Jim Luder officiating. Burial will follow at Myers Cemetery, rural Niota, Illinois.

The family request attendees wear purple in honor of Rheana.
