Marsha Ann (Sanner) Dagit

77, of Macomb

Marsha Ann (Sanner) Dagit, 77, of Macomb, IL, passed away at 6:12 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Macomb Post Acute Center in Macomb, IL. She was born on July 16, 1949 in Decatur, IL to William E. and Dorothy A. (Foster) Sanner. She spent her childhood in Illiopolis, IL before moving to Macomb, where she graduated from Western High School in 1967. She later graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Special Education. She spent her career in the Macomb school district, teaching at Grant, Logan, and Edison schools before retiring in 2019.

Marsha enjoyed needlework and crafts of all kinds. She loved to celebrate Christmas and made handmade Christmas stockings for her entire family. Most of all, she loved being Nana to her three grandsons.

Marsha is survived by her daughter Jennifer Dagit (Jason Hall), and grandsons Duncan (Felicity) Hall, Liam Hall, and Emmet Hall, all of Macomb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Luanne Sanner, and infant brother Billy.
