More than 300 area elementary school students from Edison and Lincoln schools in Macomb and West Prairie North (Good Hope) and South (Colchester) took part in the McDonough County Quality of Life Youth Task Force First Responder Day Friday in Chandler Park. Ten first responder stations, along with law enforcement, fire, ambulance and military personnel, were set up to answer questions about their jobs, the services they provide and the equipment they use at work.
