The music of Celine Dion will fill The Legacy Theater in Carthage beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in a stunning tribute performed by Jenene Caramielo in “Celebrating Celine.”
The combination of Caramielo’s talent and the powerful music of Celine Dion promises to create a memorable evening. Her mannerisms, look and powerful voice bring the favorite hits of Celine to the stage, such as 'Because You Loved Me,' 'I Drove All Night,' 'The Power of Love' and ' My Heart Will Go On,' all delivered with a talented live band.
Besides “Celebrating Celine,” Caramielo’s signature shows include “Icons & Divas,” a tribute to the biggest voices of this generation; and “Broadway to the Big Screen,” featuring hits from famous theatrical shows and iconic movies.
After studying classical voice at the Civic Light Opera in Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, Caramielo graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in musical theater from Shenandoah Conservatory.
Her early performances were in regional musical theater and opera workshops. Caramielo says her greatest honor to date is performing at the Governor’s Ball in The White House, backed by the United States Marine Band, Navy Sea Chanters, and Air Force Singing Sergeants.
