Shout-Out to MDH
Recently, I was involved in an accident, and from the moment I arrived in the ER at MDH, the care I received was, and the experience my wife and I had were, nothing short of exceptional.
Every member of the ER team took the time to explain what they were doing and what we could expect next. Dr. Parks and Dr. McPherson consulted with Dr. Welchlin regarding the hand surgery I needed, and we were grateful for the thorough communication throughout the process.
After meeting Dr. Welchlin and learning more about his background and expertise, particularly in hand surgery, we felt confident in the decision to have the procedure done at MDH. The nursing staff provided exceptional care, and everyone involved communicated and coordinated seamlessly every step of the way.
Having grown up in this community and now splitting our time between Macomb and Minnesota - a state known for its excellent healthcare - we have experienced care at many outstanding medical facilities. I can honestly say that the care I received at MDH, along with Dr. Welchlin's expertise in orthopedic surgery, was every bit as exceptional as anything we have experienced in the Twin Cities.
Too often, people only hear about MDH when something doesn't go smoothly, I wanted to take the time to recognize when things went extremely right.
