RockyTHON Color Run Sept. 19

Get your fitness – and fun – on early Sept. 19 with the Western Illinois University RockyTHON Color Run.

Beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 19 at Western's Vince Grady Field, the fundraiser for the Rocky-THON event, which raises money for the Children's Miracle Network hospitals in St. Louis, the one-mile walk/run/roll (strollers and wagons welcome!), will take participants around Vince Grady Field. Note: With delicious smells of the annual BBQ Fest wafting through the air as part of Family Day activities.

According to Rocky-THON President Samantha Haney, throughout the path, RockyTHON members will lightly toss color packets onto the participants passing by.

The registration, which is $20 per person, gets participants a white t-shirt that will be colorful by the race end, a celebratory medal and a number bib. Advance registration can be found at tinyurl.com/RockyThon-ColorRun26. Registration can also be done the day of the event.

In March 2026, over $40,000 was raised during the 13th Annual Rocky-THON. Since the event started 14 years ago, nearly $1 million has been raised for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) hospitals in St. Louis.
