Memorial Hospital invites the community to an upcoming event called: “Lunch & Learn: Understanding Your Medicare Health Plan Options.” As Medicare open enrollment approaches, Memorial Hospital wants to inform the public to better understand their options before choosing a Medicare plan.

Location: Memorial Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center Conference Room, 1454 N. Co. Rd. 2050, Carthage, IL 62321 Cost: FREE! Includes complimentary lunch, information, and giveaways.
“We are passionate about providing the best healthcare possible in our region.
It’s important for seniors to weigh the pros and cons of a Medicare plan before making a decision,” said Rena Willey, Executive Director of Revenue Cycle at Memorial Hospital. “The different options can be confusing. We want to help the community get informed so they can make the best choice that is right for them.”
The event will begin with an educational presentation by Scott McGaughey, licensed agent for Midwest Insurance Solutions Inc. in Quincy. McGaughey is an experienced agent with over ten years of expertise. After the presentation, McGaughey and Memorial Hospital representatives will lead a Q&A session. All seniors, and their loved ones, are invited to attend, enjoy a free lunch, and learn about the options that can help promote their health and wellness.
Event registration is required before Friday, Sept. 18.

There will also be an option to view the event online, but registration is still required.
