Marlin D. Pendell, 92, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at 9:50 PM Thursday August 27, 2026 at Wesley Village Health Care Center in Macomb, Illinois. He was born April 23, 1934 in rural Industry, Illinois, to John and Angie (Vincent) Pendell. He married Elinor Pennell on June 3, 1953 in Good Hope, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Kathy Hamm, and Danny (Sandra) Pendell, both of Macomb, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He dedicated his entire life to farming, taking great pride in the land he worked and the life he built through it.
Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday September 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be no visitation.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Colchester.
