The Macomb High girls swim team opened its season Saturday taking part in the Davenport Invitational hosted by Davenport Central High School.
The Bombers finished ninth, scoring eight points. Pleasant Valley took top team honors with 373 points. Bettendorf was second with 307.5 points, followed by Muscatine (211.5), Davenport (187), Burlington (159), Clinton (88), West Central (25), North Scott (17) and MHS.
