The Macomb Rotary Club has officially launched its annual fundraiser, an initiative now in its sixth year that has awarded $30,000 in scholarships and more than $100,000 in cash prizes. Ticket sales began last week and all proceeds support scholarships for students attending Western Illinois University and Spoon River College.
Each ticket is $100 with a chance to win five cash prizes: a $20,000 grand prize, $2,500 for 2nd place, $1,000 for 3rd place, $750 for 4th place and $500 for 5th place.
A weekly Early Bird Drawing will award free tickets to encourage early participation.
The winning tickets will be drawn during the club's Fifth Tuesday Social on September 29 at Park Place and winners will be notified.

• August 29, 8 a.m. to noon at Macomb Hy-Vee
• September 12, 8 a.m. to noon at Macomb Farmers Market at Chandler Park
