The Macomb High girls tennis team opened their season Thursday at Bartonville facing hosting Limestone and Pontiac.
The Bombers flew away with a pair of 4-1 victories.
Singles results against Limestone were as follows: No. 1 - Sophie Hansen, Macomb defeated Paislee Potter, Limestone, 8-2.
No. 2 - Isabella Gage, Macomb defeated Raegan Monroe, Limestone, 8-3.
Doubles results against Limestone were as follows: No. 1 - Isabella Badorek and Joyce Newman, Limestone defeated Taylor Baldi and Elanah McFadden, Macomb, 8-6.
No. 2 - Deena Managalaraj and Maria Bice, Macomb defeated Ava Wall and Kami Finn, Limestone, 8-6.
No. 3 - Scarlett Brooks and Gwen Severs, Macomb defeated Britlyn Breedlove and Alexa Badorek, Limestone, 8-5.
Singles results against Pontiac were as follows: No. 1 - Bailee Burger, Pontiac defeated Hansen, Macomb, 9-7.
No. 2 - Gage, Macomb defeated Evelyn Talamantes- Escobar, Pontiac, 8-1.
Doubles results against Pontiac were as follows: No. 1 - McFadden and Baldi, Macomb defeated Abigail Gall and Noelle Logan, Pontiac, 8-3.
No. 2 - Bice and Mangalaraj, Macomb defeated Azul Romero and Miley White, Pontiac, 8-0.
No. 3 - Brooks and Severs, Macomb defeated Rozilyn Krause and Kylie Hinds, Pontiac, 8-0.
The Bombers are scheduled to open the home porton of their schedule Aug. 27 against Peoria Christian.
