If I’d been paying attention, I might have seen an earlier article about the possible cancellation of “Flight Path,” or somehow heard about Superintendent Twomey’s giving “the community an opportunity to provide feedback to the (school) board.”
I would have organised a petition drive to keep this outstanding magazine going. It made me proud to be living in Macomb. It lifted my spirits with gratitude for the amazing personnel employed in past years by the Macomb School Board. It was extremely well-written.
I hope that a similar publication can be created - I would pay for a subscription! Maybe that could be a school board initiative.
I believe that if there had been a way for each person who valued “Flight Path” to offer comments about it beforehand, we would have persuaded the Board to find a way to continue with it.
