In the Friday, May 30th edition of the Community News Brief in a County Board story in regards to the new animal shelter it was stated, 'As with the previous agreement, McDonough County will own the facility and lease it to HSMC to conduct its operations..'
To clarify, it should have read, 'The facility will be owned by the Humane Society of McDonough County (it is their money building the building) and the county will lease the building for the use of the McDonough County Animal Shelter to conduct its operations.'
