Samantha J. Powell, 40 of Macomb, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was born October 18, 1985, in Macomb, the daughter of Joseph Powell and Jamie Friday Powell.
Surviving to mourn her passing is her mother: Jamie Powell, Macomb, her father and step mother: Joe (Stephanie) Powell, Colchester. Brother: Drew Powell, Colchester, Sister: Buffie (Dennis) Wardell, Colchester, Niece: Noah Huston, Macomb and Nephew: Tom Wardell, Colchester.
Along with many extended family and friends. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents: Bruce Powell, Rose Frakes Hill, John (Tom) Friday, and Marylou Friday.
Sam will be remembered by many for her infectious personality. She always had a smile and kind words. Not to leave out that she was quite a hoot, to boot.
