Hope G. (Knight) Clark, 78, of Macomb, passed away peacefully at 2:34 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Oregon, IL.
Hope was born on July 8, 1948, in Macomb, to Kenneth and Mabel (Brown) Knight. She grew up in the Macomb area and built a life centered on hard work, family, and caring for those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, William “Bill” Clark; her siblings, Marilyn Geimeia, Donna Wardell, Robert Petty, Michael Petty, and Ernie Petty; her stepson, William “Billy” Clark; and her lifelong childhood friend, Lucy Pendley.
Hope is lovingly remembered by her special daughter, Trixy Dace of Oregon, IL; her grandson, William Colby Clark Dace of Oregon, IL; her granddaughter, Amber Clark of Macomb; her great-grandchildren, Larissa Clark and Jaxton Dakin, both of Macomb; her stepson, John Clark of Bushnell; her cherished friends, Wilma Reimolds of Norman, Oklahoma and Dianna Clark of Macomb; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
