Does Anybody Remember We the People?
Never mind the constant whining of our spoiled, grade-school president. Never mind the childish fixations on imagined personal enemies. (That is, anyone who dares refuse to bow to our self-anointed king) While the vast majority of us are suffering from inflated energy costs, higher food prices, higher mortgage rates, and increasingly stubborn inflation, the millionaires and billionaires (yes, $1000 million) are reaping the rewards of the Trump regime. And this in no way excludes the president, his family, and his cronies.
While our Commander-in-Tweet DITHERS with his pet projects, he and his brown-nosed Senators and Representatives, especially Mary Miller and the hapless Darren LaHood, have utterly surrendered all responsibility to the constituents who, as it turns out, misguidedly voted for them.
Does anybody remember We The People? We who never imagined that this outsider, the one who vowed to “drain the swamp”, would ultimately bully his way into bed with the very establishment politicians he swore to get rid of?
Do they forget that WE ARE AT WAR? A war of Trump’s own making? A war he keeps insisting we are winning? “Like nobody’s ever seen before!”
A useless war costing the lives of our sons and daughters?
A short three-week “excursion” to prove how much testosterone he and his self-proclaimed Secretary of War can drip?
A short, LITTLE war to display to the entire world how mighty and DOMINANT we, The now Great United States of America are?
In the coming weeks leading up to these critical mid-term elections we intend to highlight how all of our billions (trillions?) of tax dollars are being spent, and the REAL costs of the, for lack of a better phrase, the squandering of America.
