Several years ago I got stuck in a snow bank in front of First Bankers Trust. I thought I could get out by myself or that someone in the Bank would help. Lovely people across the street and some others came to my rescue, shoveled a lot of snow, and after about 20 minutes I was on my way. Again, thank you so much for your kindness.
Last November I lost my billfold. I didn't know where I lost it but I had been at Aldi, and some kind person had found my billfold and turned it in at the office. Thank you so very much. Your Act of Kindness saved me a lot of time and trouble replacing the contents of the billfold.
On July 28, again at Aldi, I had just finished loading my cart in the frozen section and turned to check out and was next to a gentleman who had a few items in his cart.
I asked him if he was going to check out and he said yes, but I should go ahead. I said, 'No, you go ahead because I have many more items than you.' He said, 'Thank you' and checked out. When I went to pay for my groceries, the clerk said that the gentleman before me had paid for them. I was dumbfounded and missed an opportunity to say thank you in person. Thank you, kind Sir, for your Act of Kindness, I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.
I am grateful for having lived over 60 years in this wonderful community, where people have always been so friendly, kind, and giving.
