Bushnell Park District Looking for a Director of Flag Football

Bushnell Park District is looking for an individual to work as Flag Football Director for the upcoming Fall Season. This position runs from hire date until approximately the end of October, or when the flag football games are done. A strong sense of community, teamwork, good communication skills, and great with kids is needed for this position. This is a paid position. Pay will be discussed individually with interested individuals.

Bushnell Park District is looking for Director of Flag Football sport season The Director will also have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Oversee scheduling, drafts, and coordination of teams, coaches, the Park Board, and the community.

• Liaison between parents and coaches, coaches, and the Board and others.

• The Director will oversee an individual who will run Concessions and manage its actions, sales, and hiring.

• The Director will act as an extension of the Park Board and will communicate with the Park Board on happenings during the season.

• The Director will act as a representative of the Park Board and will conduct themselves in a professional, unbiases manner when interacting with the community, players, and coaches.

• The Director will ne conduct themselves with honesty, and be open-minded about suggestions from the community, the Board and other parties involved.

• The Director will be responsible for coordinating schedules and making changes during the sports season as needed for weather or other unforeseen events.

• The Director will ensure that the sport leagues have an encouraging environment for the kids to enjoy and learn skills needed.
