Macomb's Fourth Annual National Night Out is fast approaching!
The event, which is an annual community-building campaign designed to promote police-community partnerships, heighten crime awareness and strengthen neighborhood camaraderie, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4 in front of the Macomb Police Department and McDonough County Sheriff's Office, 120 S. McArthur St.
The event is open free to the public, and allows members of the public to meet, and talk with, area police officers; learn more about community service organizations; take an up-close-and-personal look at emergency vehicles; enjoy dinner from Sandra's Authentic Mexican food truck; dance to music provided by a DJ; and let the kids enjoy a foam party and water feature.
