Roseville Store Houses 25 Vendors
Marsha Cameron is in her third year of managing Four Corners Antiques and More in the village of Roseville, Illinois. She has, however, been employed at the store since 2013. The quaint shop’s front door faces the intersection of Roseville business highways 67 and 116, at the four-way stop in Roseville.
The Four Corners building has served as many things over the years, even a bank at one time (vault is still present).
It has also been a restaurant and a store named Cluckers.
The Roseville shop is not a thrift store or a flea market. Cameron stresses that she only wants high quality antique, vintage, and primitive goods, as well as collectible coins and baseball cards. The store sells no clothes. She screens her vendors before allowing them to rent a space and Four Corners only charges booth rent and does not take a commission.
Some items of interest to this writer as I walked around were vintage toys, stoneware and Haeger Pottery, antique fishing lures, homemade candles and a vintage Coca-Cola machine. The store is organized efficiently and is easy to maneuver. Collectible coins and baseball cards are showcased in the first room, and there are at least five large rooms to browse.
Recently the owner of Four Corners bought a building next door and the antique mall now has an extra room. Ten vendors fill the new addition.
Four Corners has had customers drive from as far as four hours away. Some of her vendors also set up on the Spoon River Drive come October, and the store receives a lot of attention from the drive’s participants as they pass through Roseville.
Four Corners Antiques and More sometimes hosts open houses and Christmas events. They advertise these on Facebook, in local papers and with fliers. The store is pretty much run by six volunteers, with Marsha as the manager.
