Players from Macomb, West Prairie and Bushnell-Prairie City were among those selected to this year’s Prairieland Conference All-Conference baseball team as chosen by the league coaches.
On the First Team, MacombHigh sophomore Nick Elbe was a unanimous selection, while senior teammate Langdon Lambert was also named to the first team.
Also named to the first team was West Prairie sophomore Matthew Whitman.
Second team selections included Macomb High juniors Drew Watson and Emmett Beck and West Prairie junior Austin Nelson.
B-PC junior Connor Palm and freshman Dylan King received special mention honors.

Farmington - Landon Crawford, junior. Illini West - Wesley Robertson, junior and Ethan Carlisle, junior.

Macomb and Farmington reached Class 2A Regional finals at Macomb and Minonk respectively.
Macomb lost to Eureka 7-2, while Farmington lost to Peoria Notre Dame 1-0.
Eureka has since advanced to supersectional play after winning a sectional title at Chillicothe. The Hornets defeated Sherrard 2-1 and host IVC 3-0 and were slated to head to Geneseo Monday to face Wilmington for a spot in the Class 2A semifinals.
Brimfield/Elmwood was upset by Peoria Notre Dame 7-3 in the regional semifinal at Minonk.
