According to McDonough County Treasurer Dana Moon, the total tax bill for 2025 due from Cardinal Point is $1,536,274.58, while the Camp Creek RWE bill is currently $2,382.24. An estimate for 2026 is not available at this time.
Camp Creek/RWE taxing bodies include City/County Bldg Commission, County Corporate Fund, County Tax – Special Use, Industry Fire, Spoon River, MTA 7 – Multi- Township, Scotland Township Road & Bridge, Scotland Township Tax and Macomb Unit School 185.
Cardinal Point’s taxing bodies include City/County Bldg Commission, County Corp Fund, County Tax- Special Use. Eleven parcels are in Blandinsville Township so in addition to the three County funds listed above, the funds go to the Fire District – Blandinsville, Carl Sandburg, Blandinsville- Hire Library, MTA2, MTA9, Blandinsville Township Road & Bridge, Blandinsville Twp Tax, and West Prairie Unit School 103. Thirty-three parcels are in Sciota Township so in addition to the three County funds above, the funds go to the Good Hope-Sciota Fire District, MTA8, Sciota Twp Road & Bridge, Sciota Twp Tax and West Prairie Unit School 103.
