Midwest Grass & Forage is launching Buck’N Wildlife, marking the transition to an online platform for purchasing food plot seed.
Beginning this year, wildlife plot products, such as radishes, turnips, Buck’N Crazy and more will no longer be offered in quantities smaller than 50 pounds at the Macomb location.
Instead these products will be available to be ordered online in smaller package sizes, and will arrive at customer’s doorsteps in two to five business days.
“As MGF has expanded, the complexity of our agricultural customers' needs has evolved. A significant portion of our sales now consists of cover crop or forage mixtures, or are associated with carbon or cost-share programs that necessitate more paperwork than ever,” shares Laura Lant Haney, MGF Agronomist and co-owner. “Our aim is to keep providing in-person service to our agricultural and turf clients while transitioning wildlife sales to an online platform. Wildlife seed often requires us to split packages, a process that involves multiple steps to ensure legal compliance.
The website will enable us to fulfill these orders without disrupting our employees and their immediate workflow.”
