Luther has been a hard worker his entire life. He left school in eighth grade when his father fell ill to work the family farm. In the late forties he and Nina moved to Bushnell when he took a job at the hammer factory. After that, he began working construction with Verne Eggers of Macomb.

Luther learned a lot from Verne and went out on his own starting Klinedinst Construction. Klinedinst Construction was known for cutting trees, building houses, remodeling and just about anything you can imagine with the help of his 4 sons and many hired hands from Bushnell.

Luther and Nina loved to square dance traveling all over to competitions. They took many trips to “the boat” and Las Vegas to try their luck at slots and take in some shows. Most of all Luther loved people. He loved to tell stories of his life and share them with anyone and everyone.
