To whom it may concern:
I am writing to express my thanks for helping me when I am out and about. I use a walker and a wheelchair. I have been helped by many strangers to cross safely to the other side of the street. Some of these examples include: A truck turned sideways to block traffic so I could cross safely from Walgreens to CVS; I had a woman ask if I was alright and if I needed a ride at the bus stop at JB Hawks; It was a windy day and I had been to get groceries and I had to stop at St. Paul Church because of the wind and had to leave a few of them there so they put them in the refrigerator for me. As I was wheeling myself home with what I could carry on my lap a very nice young man asked if I needed a push and said if it was his grandmother he would want someone to help her and he pushed me all the way home; I was on Jackson Street once heading to Great Clips and a truck pulled over, parked and then pushed me all the way to Great Clips and inside; Lastly, it was another gusty day and a man saw I was in trouble, my eyeglass case was blown into the street, and he pulled his van up and gave me a ride home while another person retrieved my eyeglass case. The man in the van gave me a statue of Jesus and I still have that statue and cherish it. I thank all of these kind people that have helped me. God is always there to get you help. There is kindness in people you know and strangers alike. God bless everyone who helps me.
