Macomb police officers Jenna Martino and Eli Gerard recently received the Department’s Lifesaving Award. On May 15, they responded to a call of an unconscious male who was not breathing. They conducted lifesaving measures, including two-person CPR for approximately six minutes, while medical personnel were delayed by a train.
When the ambulance arrived the subject was semi-alert and breathing. He later made a full recovery.
