Everyone loves the lasagna-eating, overly charming yet sarcastic, perfectly orange cat they call Garfield. Well, he'll be on the marquee on Wednesday, June 18, and Thursday, June 19, in the recently made 2024 adaptation of 'The Garfield Movie.' For the first time, Garfield meets his father, a scruffy alley cat, and boy, will they have some adventures together. But is the reunion enough for him to walk away from the loving home he shares with his doting cat dad, Jon Arbuckle, and his opposite, sometimes pal, sometimes enemy, Odie?
Rounding out the month of June comes everyone's favorite yellow creatures, the Minions, in 'Despicable Me 4,' on Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26. There's more than meets the eye in the third movie set for mid-July, with 'Transformers One' on Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17. Once upon a time, Optimus Prime and Megatron were the best of friends. This movie recounts how their journey turned from close allies to bitter rivals.
Who doesn't love a good boy band? Well, for Poppy, it fuels her musical passions. On a journey with Branch to reunite a group of brothers turned boy band, they must go through the trenches to stop a nefarious villain from possibly destroying pop culture as we know it with 'Trolls Band Together' on Wednesday, July 23, and Thursday, July 24.
Concluding the month of July is everyone's favorite 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' with 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider- Verse,' on Wednesday, July 30, and Thursday, July 31. Imagine several multiverses of Spider-People. For Miles Morales, he is on a quest to find out what is beyond the spiderwebs he's used to slinging and what lies ahead if he were to change his fate.
And capping the summer film festivities is 'Migration' on Wednesday, August 6, and Thursday, August 7. Wouldn't it be nice to take a small vacation just before school starts? For a group of ducks, that's what they try to do; however, there comes a detour to New York City. Can they survive the hustle and bustle of the city compared to the New England pond they originally left?
In addition to these films, several exciting blockbusters are coming soon. The live-action adaptation of 'Lilo & Stitch' is currently showing.
