Three members of the Rushville-Industry High School softball team have been named to this year’s West Central All-Conference softball team by the league’s coaches.
Senior Italee Ford and junior Devin Vogler were named to the WCC First Team, while senior Elliott Hood was an honorable mention selection.
The criteria to be selected for WCC All-Conference include the following.
1. Must be nominated by the coach. 2. Voting is based on conference stats only.
3. Coaches can not vote for their own players.
4. The top 18 vote getters (and ties) are named all conference.
5. To be named honorable mention you must receive at least two votes.
Ford finishes her high school career as a four-time WCC First Team selection.
In 2026, she hit .538 in WCC play, recording 14 hits in 26 at-bats, including two home runs. Ford finished with a .600 on-base percentage.
She knocked in 15 runs, while scoring six.
In the circle, Ford posted a 2-1 record with a 1.91 earned run average. In 22 innings, she allowed six earned runs, striking out 16.
Playing a number of positions, Ford had three errors in 24 total chances in finishing with an .875 fielding percentage.
Vogler makes her second appearance on the WCC First Team after being an honorable mention selection a year ago.
The junior hit .560, recording 14 hits in 25 at-bats, including two doubles, two triples and one home run.
Vogler had an OBP of .633, scoring 13 runs, while knocking in nine runs.
She posted a .958 fielding percentage, finishing with two errors in 48 total chances.
Hood posted a .381 batting average, recording eight hits in 21 at-bats, including a pair of triples. She finished with an OBP of .552.
Defensively, Hood committed two errors in 19 chances for a fielding percentage of .895.

Camp Point Central - Emma Stephens, junior.
Liberty - Chandler John, junior; Anna Dietrich, senior and Weslee John, freshman.
Payson-Seymour - Megan Kirby, senior.
Quincy Notre Dame - Sophia White, sophomore and Cadence Smith, sophomore.
Mendon Unity - Addison Spilker, junior.
West Hancock - Camie Montgomery, senior; Jadyn Climer, senior and Taylinn Denning, freshman.
Barry Western - Brynlee McQuay, senior and Sophie Rennecker, sophomore.

West Hancock - Cadee LeMaire, freshman and Lauren Stevenson, sophomore.
Barry Western - Emma Dixon, senior and Loryn White, senior.
