Reimolds, Bartlett Named WCC Baseball All-Conference

Two members of the Rushville-Industry High School baseball squad have been selected to the West Central Conference First Team.

Seniors Rylan Reimolds and Jagger Bartlett were two of 19 players named to this year’s team.

The criteria to be selected for WCC All-Conference include the following.

1. Must be nominated by the coach. 2. Voting is based on conference stats only.

3. Coaches can not vote for their own players.

4. The top 18 vote getters (and ties) are named all conference.

5. To be named honorable mention you must receive at least two votes.

Reimolds, an honorable mention selection a year ago, was a unanimous first team choice in 2026.

In WCC play, Reimolds had a .478 batting average (11-of-23) that included three doubles and two triples.

He finished with a .519 on-base percentage and a .783 slugging percentage, resulting in a 1.302 OPS (on-base plus slugging).

Reimolds scored eight runs and had six runs batted in.

Defensively, Reimolds finished with a .935 fielding percentage, committing two errors in 31 total chances. He recorded 11 assists and 18 putouts.

On the mound, Reimolds pitched in 11.2 innings in two games, posting a 1-0 record with one no-decision. He allowed four hits and two unearned runs. Reimolds struck out 14, walked two and hit a batter, finishing with a .514 WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched).

Bartlett hit .368 in WCC play (7-of-19) with one double and one triple. His .538 on-base percentage plus his .526 slugging percentage left him with an OPS of 1.065.

He knocked in eight runs and scored eight runs.

Bartlett finished with a .952 fielding percentage, committing one error in 21 chances. He recorded five assists and 15 putouts.

On the mound, Bartlett pitched two innings, allowing two hits, while striking out three for a WHIP of 1.000.

Other WCC Baseball All-Conference First Team selections included the following: Beardstown - Colby DeSollar, junior (unanimous).

Camp Point Central - Luke Houston, sophomore (unanimous); Collin Likes, junior (unanimous) and Briggs Wiskirchen, junior (unanimous).

Liberty - Reed Sparrow, junior (unanimous); Evan Sims, junior (unanimous) and Gavin Edgar, junior.

Payson-Seymour - Nolan Sparks, senior (unanimous).

Quincy Notre Dame - Eli Johnson, sophomore (unanimous); Gavin Doellman, senior (unanimous) and Kyle Thompson, sophomore.

Mendon Unity - Avery Frese, senior (unanimous); Sawyer Allen, senior (unanimous) and Elijah Parsons, senior.

Western - Brody Winningham, junior.

West Hancock - Layton Conkright, senior and Brayden Carter, senior.

WCC Honorable Mention selections included the following: Beardstown - Zach Meyer, junior. Camp Point Central - Luke Ippensen, sophomore.

Payson-Seymour - Hunter Miller, senior. Quincy Notre Dame - Rowan Stegeman, sophomore.

West Hancock - Juris Pohren, senior and Logan Baker, junior.

Western - Brody Bainter, sophomore.
