Thanks to Community News Brief
To the Editor:
We are lucky. We can be grateful to have the Community News Brief help us express our thanks, provide information, and convey our opinions. Plus, I am thankful for all the various letters to the editor.
As I wrote in previous letters to the editor in the Community News Brief, it’s not about Republicans and Democrats. It’s about issues. It’s about our different ways to address those issues. I like to speak to the issues with my rally posters and some examples follow.
“Free Speech, Free Press.” “Due Process For All.” Diversity, Equity, Inclusion – Now.” “Healthcare + Humanity For All.” “No War.” “We Are All Immigrants.” and “I Stand With Ukraine.” I will be happy to discuss my perspectives with folks. How about through future letters to the editor, in person, by text, email, or phone?
Through my careers I have had the pleasure of working with people from different political parties. Sometimes I knew their political affiliation and sometimes I did not. It did not matter. I am most proud for achievements we made to protect the environment, empower people with disabilities, and help people who are less fortunate. Together we can continue to make achievements.
I hope the dialogue expressing our ideas continues. We live in a vibrant community where everyone can matter and everyone can care.
Thank you,
Ross Braun Macomb, Illinois
